About Knits & Pieces
Hello, I’m Beth, the maker behind Knits & Pieces, a handmade baby clothing and gift brand based in the Isle of Man.
I create handmade baby clothes, blankets, toys and accessories using knitting, crochet, and sewing. Every piece is made by hand in small batches from my home studio, with a focus on comfort, softness, and simple and fun designs.
Handmade baby clothing and gifts
All items are handmade by me in the Isle of Man (sometimes my mum who taught me how to knit likes to join in!). I create a rotating collection of handmade items including:
knitted baby clothing
sewn baby clothes and accessories
crochet baby items
baby blankets
soft toys and keepsakes
Most items are one of a kind, because I enjoy making each piece as a unique creation. Occasionally I repeat popular designs, but generally each item is made in small numbers and then listed when it’s ready.
Once something is sold, it’s usually gone.
Why I started
Knits and Pieces began over ten years ago when my best friend was having a baby. I wanted to create something special for her and her new arrival, and that first experience of making baby items by hand sparked something that stayed with me.
What started as making gifts for loved ones slowly grew into Knits and Pieces, a space where I could keep creating and share those handmade pieces with others.

I’m based in the Isle of Man and carefully package and post orders to customers across the Isle of Man and UK.
Supporting Knits and Pieces means supporting a small independent maker creating handmade baby clothes and gifts with care and intention.
What makes this shop different
Living with chronic illness has taught me to embrace slow making. I create when I'm feeling well, without rushing or working to deadlines, which means the shop is always changing as new handmade pieces are finished.
Each item is made by hand, not mass-produced. I don’t take custom orders, instead, I make what I feel inspired to create and list it when it’s ready.
